The original painting, Return of the Bougainvillea was created after Hurricane Irma in 2017. I lived in St. John, USVI during the storm, and all the greenery and flowers were blown away. Slowly the plants started growing back. I created this painting as soon as the bougainvillea flowers returned. It symbolizes regrowth, new life, and lets us know that we can always start over again. Enjoy!!
